Wetland Delineation and Permitting
ATR Associates performs wetlands delineation according to the 1987 U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Wetlands Delineation Manual and can modify or augment our delineation procedures to meet any state-specific requirements. Our focus is on the Mid-Atlantic and Southeastern U.S. We perform RPA studies and RMA delineations under the Chesapeake Bay Protection Act and assist clients in obtaining various federal and state wetland permits.



Wetland Banking
ATR Associates can, under certain circumstances, help clients obtain a return on otherwise 'non-productive' property by developing the property into a wetland bank.  ATR Associates can develop the initial concept, perform a wetlands assessment, coordinate with relevant federal and state agencies, prepare the banking instrument, design the wetland bank facility, oversee construction, and manage the sale of credits.  Following the sale of all wetland credits ATR Associates can assist the client in performing long-term operation and mainten-ance, or transferring the property to a land trust or other organization.  We generally work on a client-consultant basis, but equity participation is also a possibility.
